Project implemented as a part of the course ‘ Architecture and rural planning’
during the seventh semester.
Farmstead Complex is located in Babice. The course project included studies on the conditions or plans of local rural areas, proposing changes, and then choosing the best place as a location of the designed objects. I decided to focus on the analysis of two towns, namely Babice and Wygiełzów.
PROGRAM AND FUNCTIONAL ASSUMPTIONS
The farmstead Complex consists of three buildings. These are: a multi-generational home, a stable with a part that is intended for customer service, and a tourist house with two-bed and four-bed rooms (20 guests). Such a solution will allow to organize, for example, one-day trips, which will give the visitors the opportunity to relax in a beautiful, green area.
On the plot there is also a place for a car park, a garden for both landlords and visitors and an open hore arene, which would be visible for the guests. Moreover, the complex provides space for an orchard, farmlands and pastures.
